Festive Marketing Ideas For the Holiday Season

    If there is one thing that will set your real estate business aside through the holiday season, it is adding festive touches to engage your current, and new, clientele. We have compiled some fun, and easy, ideas to 

  1. Add some simple decorative touches to listed homes. Some simple lights, a homey wreath, or a fun and stylish welcome mat may be just your unoccupied listing needs to stand out. Whether you buy/rent these items for the season, or just have them placed for the photoshoot, they will add an element of warmth and splendor.

  2. Create a holiday lights home tour map of your listings. Another great reason to hang those lights and keep them up, is to advertise all of your listings on your own, custom holiday lights tour. You can also add these to local light tour maps to increase your listing traffic. 

  3. Create a drop-off donation dropoff. This is a great way to give back to your community, while increasing foot traffic in your direction (whether it be your office or another designated location). Be sure to have team marketing information on-hand, as well as fliers for any current listings you have. Whether you utilize your own social media to advertise this collection, or a campaign, this is an easy way to expand your reach.

  4. Add some holiday touches to your website and social media. Before you augment your site, make sure it is optimized for user-friendly navigation. Update any contact information needed, and make it highly visible. To make it pop with festivity,  add some niche or special touches that set you apart. Have everyone in your office wear an ugly sweater and add a team photo, or participate in a unique local tradition, making sure to add the photographic evidence on your site. 

  5. Add holiday mailers/emails to your agenda. Whether you send everyone in your database a quick thank you email, or set up a mass mailing of postcards, this is an area where you can truly shine. Ramp up the creativity, and use this as another idea to stand out in their mail pile. Add a fun cookie recipe, or a photo of your holiday lights map on the postcard or mailer, and let your added touch speak volumes for your level of care!
