Marching On Toward Spring

   Spring is right around the corner, and with it comes a host of exciting opportunities. First, we will "spring forward" with another time change. While many see another time change as an annoyance, remember that extra daylight gives you more time to get out there and grow your real estate business. Put those signs out, volunteer in your community, or just add some evening house tours to set your name apart!    Another sure sign of the changing seasons is the blooming of flowers and greening of grass. Remind your listing clients that this is an opportune window to start working on boosting curb appeal before listing. Get some grass seed out now, and make sure everything is trimmed for new growth. If they are planning to vacate the home before listing, be sure to schedule lawn and garden care early, as companies will begin booking out soon.   The final "sure sign" of Spring, which is dragging out a bit this year, is the population of military PCS orders. Those who work closely with military families have likely noticed the delay in this process, as compared to previous years, but the orders are slowly rolling out, and the chaos is ready to begin! Help your clients navigate this time with a BAH calculation tool, and a market analysis, if they are headed to your area. If they are heading out from your area, make sure to connect them with a VA-specialized agent to assist them in finding a home.
